On November 8th and 9th, I had the privilege of taking a road trip with four friends to see some Martin Luther sites. These photos are from Eisenach, Germany. At the top is a picture of Doug Hudson and myself at the Wartburg Castle. Next is a photo from just down the hill at the Johann Sebastian Bach museum, which stands just next door to the beautiful Bach family home (pictured third). The last two are photos of the Lutherhaus and Bibelcafe just a few blocks from the Bachhaus. Standing in the room where Luther translated Hebrew and Greek into German, where generations of Bachs lived and created music, and where many Lutheran pastors have been trained for the ministry was a thrill; but, this was just the beginning of our trip...
