Four weeks old!

Joy turned 4 weeks old today. Time is flying by so quickly. I spent part of the evening holding her just remembering her birth only weeks ago. She has already grown so much. At her check-up last week she weighed over 10 pounds! Her arrival in our family has brought so much joy to us. She is such a sweet baby. I don't want to brag too much about her, but she is such an easy baby. From the start, she's been eating and sleeping so well. I only get up with her once during the night and I love every minute we have together during those times, although we both usually end up dozing off. I'll sometime wake up an hour later in the recliner--fortunately, it's a very comfortable chair so I sleep pretty comfortably in it. =)

This is Joy's favorite spot in the evenings after supper--asleep on Mommy or Daddy. This is really the only time of day that she gets fussy, but as soon as we pick her up she falls right off to sleep. We love it!
