Easter Sunday

Our Resurrection Sunday began at 6AM, when the bells of our village church rang out gloriously to proclaim the Risen Savior. Although most of our neighbors stayed tucked quietly in their homes that morning, we got up, got ready, and headed to church to celebrate. Our service was one filled with the Word, song, and thankful hearts. (Please check out the song our choir sang, located a few posts down.) We returned home to feast with some friends from church: the Does, the Mays, the Sperows, and Jessica L. And, my goodness, it was a feast! After a delicious meal, some hymn-singing, and dessert, the kids followed-up with a fun Easter egg hunt in the back yard. The picture above is a shot of our cherry tree blossoms. The blue skies in the background have become the norm around here. Sunny, warm, breezy, beautiful weather has been enjoyed by all for a few weeks now, and we're hoping it's here to stay! We pray all of our friends and family were able to celebrate a joyful Easter Sunday!

Alleluia! Christ is risen!
