One of the main purposes for our trip to Strasbourg was to scout out places of interest related to the great Protestant reformer Martin Bucer (Butzer). This is a picture of the church of St. Nicolaus, one of two churches Bucer pastored. Because this church is actively used for the evangelical worshipping community of Strasbourg, we were unable to look inside. Probably not a bad problem to have in a place where churches are seen more as museums than places of worship.
